For me, weddings are a story and my style of Hampshire wedding photography gives you a collection of beautiful photographs that document your unique story. I photograph in an unobtrusive, unposed way that documents your wedding day as it unfolds capturing all of the special moments, like the first time you cast eyes on each other down the aisle or a glistening tear as you say ‘I do’, and incorporate a selection of group photographs that you would like.
Whether you would prefer to call my style of wedding photography documentary, reportage or even wedding photojournalism, it all amounts to the same thing – natural, uninterrupted moments to remember your special day as it happened. You will barely know I’m there, which means you can enjoy the day fully. For me it is so important that your story is told through your wedding photographs, and that the day remains as uninterrupted as possible. My aim as a documentary wedding photographer is to record a collection of photographs which will sit alongside your memories of the day, taking you back to it every time you look at them. Your job on the day is to sit back and enjoy your wedding with your loved ones and I will capture it all as discreetly and genuinely as possible. The results are stunning and emotive photographs of your wedding day that you will want to look at again and again, year after year.
I photograph the majority of my weddings in Hampshire and Dorset however I also frequently travel the UK to photograph them too. In the UK I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings at wedding venues such as Rhinefield House Hotel, Spitbank Fort, Somerley House and Coombe Lodge to name only a few whilst I have also been fortunate enough to photograph weddings as far away as Italy too. I am also very honoured to be a preferred wedding photographer to a number of stunning venues in the South of England including Rhinefield House Hotel, Somerley House, Audleys Wood Hotel and Spitbank Fort.
In 2018 I was voted the TWIA Wedding Photographer of the Year for the South Central region and in both 2018 & 2019 I was voted best wedding photographer at The Hampshire Wedding Supplier Awards. All of these awards I am extremely proud of and they mean I am in a very fortunate position to be one of the best wedding photographers Hampshire and Dorset has to offer.
