Natural & relaxed wedding photography in Hampshire and beyond
Hi, I’m Martin - a devoted husband, and girl-dad to three. NUFC fanatic, Game of Thrones lover, and a multi award-winning Hampshire wedding photographer working all over the UK.
Your wedding day deserves to be remembered exactly as it felt so you can relive it over and over again.
The taste of the champagne, the little smiles you share as you say "I do", and the laughter that fills the room when you're surrounded by the people you love most. That's the good bits, right?!
My approach is simple. I focus on the real moments as they unfold, so you can spend your day celebrating rather than standing in front of a camera for hours. No endless posing, no disappearing for hours, and no missing the moments that matter the most.
Instead, I create a collection of honest, natural photographs that tell the story of your wedding day as it happened. With a few amazing portraits too.
Photographs that sit alongside your memories and take you straight back to how it felt in that moment, bringing back all the emotion, all the atmosphere, and that 'just-married' feeling every time you look at them.
That feeling of looking through the crowd on the dancefloor; or laughing with your friends. Seeing that smile, hearing that song, squeezing that hand.
Natural, emotive, colourful photos that transport you back to the moment, and pull you in.
I won't just capture your wedding the way it looked, I capture how it actually felt to be there.
In the Wedding Industry Awards 2026, I came in the top 10 wedding photographers in the country, after winning best wedding photographer for Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire.
Martin is an exceptional photographer and an exceptional human being which really matters when choosing someone to join you on your wedding day! We loved having him with us on the day and many of our guests said the same.
5 stars indeed!
Martin is an incredible photographer - we have gone through our entire gallery and there is not a single photo we don’t absolutely love. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful in the lead up to the wedding, answering all our questions even if they were perhaps a little silly at times.
Thank you so much Martin!
I honestly don't know where to start! Martin is an incredible photographer who's love for his work shines through into his photos. From the first conversation we had, it was clear we needed to book him, His laid-back calming approach fitted perfectly with us.
Thank you Martin, we’ll be forever grateful for the memories you’ve immortalised in your photos, we’ll cherish them always.
We were worried about having intimate couple photos but Martin made the photos feel so relaxed and romantic. It didn't actually feel like we were being photographed. It just felt like we were spending time together on our wedding day. Many of our guests commented on how well Martin fitted into the wedding and just worked seamlessly in the background capturing the most incredible, precious photos.
As soon as he greeted me in the morning, he made me feel at ease and contributed to how perfect the day was. He is worth his weight in gold!!!
Martin was absolutely amazing at our recent wedding at Rhinefield house. He was great fun, organised, pro active and all of our guests raved about how wonderful he was. Most importantly, the photos are absolutely beautiful and a magical record of our special day.
So as your wedding photographer, I’ll blend in, read the room, and give you space. You’ll be able to make more memories together, and get wrapped-up in every moment - have fun, drink, dance, be silly, be yourselves.
Mingling will be actively encouraged!
And above all else, your experience will always come first.
I don’t want you to remember smiling for the camera, or moving from pose to pose. And I don’t want you to remember talking to me more than your friends.
I want you to remember the conversations you had.
The taste of champagne, the sound of people laughing, the sight of your best friend tearing up during your vows. All of it.
For the majority of the wedding I will be your eyes.
Capturing all the little moments that make your day unique.
From the first time your parents see you, to the crazy uncle strutting his stuff on the dance floor...
and all the beautiful moments in between.
We'll capture the group photos with your favourite people,
and allow time to get some gorgeous photos of the two of you
and always making sure that your story is told perfectly.

I have always loved taking, and looking at, pictures. My family always enjoyed creating a family album together, and I have tons of snapshots from my childhood. I would spend countless hours as a child looking through them. Even now as an adult a picture, or set of photos, brings back the memories of my childhood so vividly.
As a child, my family and I would visit Hampshire for Summer holidays and one of our favourite places would be the New Forest. Villages such as Brockenhurst, Burley and Lymington I found particularly quaint and would always bring my camera along to see which parts of the Hampshire landscape and coastline I could capture each year.
My background has not always been in photography as I had a previous career as a ballet dancer. During one of my dancing injuries I decided to head to the local camera shop and purchase a DSLR with some lenses to start taking pictures as a hobby. I began taking photos of what I knew - dance - and quickly realised that I wanted to become a professional photographer. As a keen amateur enthusiast I could see how capturing the light and motion together was a passion of mine so I decided to take a diploma in photography and then later moved to specialise with a diploma in wedding photography specifically.
The photography courses gave me a great understanding of the technical aspects such as a sensor, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, RAW and JPEG files, as well as a few creative techniques such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, contrast and symmetry. All of these principles I still incorporate into each wedding I photograph today. Only ever having used digital cameras I taught myself everything there is to know about Lightroom, Photoshop and all the necessary skills to enhance the photos I take. To say I would be lost in a film darkroom is a big understatement.
Since finishing my diplomas and leaving the dance world, my skills have improved just a little! I love that couples comment on on how colourful and emotional my images are and it still thrills me to this day that I get to photograph weddings as my full time job.
Back in 2011 I celebrated my wedding day in the beautiful New Forest at Rhinefield House. It was a remarkable day celebrating with my friends and family in the most idyllic of Hampshire wedding venues. It was the first venue we looked at and fell in love with its stunning features and grand feel. This was before I became a wedding photographer and this experience transformed the way I look at weddings. I am now very privileged to be a preferred photographer for Rhinefield House since 2013 and have had the pleasure of photographing over 220 weddings at the venue to date.
The day you get married will definitely be one of the happiest in your life, the first time you meet as Bride and Groom is always a magical moment and has produced some of my favourite wedding ceremony moments over the years. Whether you’re going for a traditional church wedding or a civil ceremony with a marriage officiant or celebrant, each wedding is truly unique and that’s why I love to be a part of each occasion.
The Hampshire’s river Test is full of stunning views and wildlife. From rolling hills to stags in the Forest so much natural beauty can be found here. The tall Redwood trees on Ornamental Drive and the coastal beauty of Lymington are two very popular areas in the county of Hampshire. This county has so much to offer for photographers wanting to capture the natural beauty of England and produce images full of life. Photographers will often shoot wide open to create pin-sharp pictures of the scenery, which are especially beautiful at golden hour.
Since 2020 there has definitely been a lot more weddings taking place across Hampshire and the New Forest. Some larger celebrations in grand venues like Rhinefield House, Lainston House Clock Barn and Pylewell Park but also much smaller celebrations in family homes, registry offices and rural retreats. Regardless of what size, or the whereabouts of each wedding, I always love the atmosphere these incredible celebrations produce and feel honoured each time I pick up my camera to be a part of one.
One of the most exciting things about planning your day is getting to choose and ask all your special people to be a part of it, be that bridesmaids, groomsmen, pageboys or flower girls. The connections between you and your favourite people is one that drives me as a wedding photographer.
I love shooting Hampshire engagements and you can view some information and work here.

Why not take some time and look through a wedding day album to give you a true insight as to how I approach a wedding day from start-to-finish.
