Early morning rain turns to golden sun in Louisa and Matt’s beautifully fun Rhinefield House wedding.
As a preferred wedding photographer of Rhinefield House, I was delighted to photograph Louisa and Matt’s wedding day at this historic New Forest venue. I had the pleasure of first meeting them during a wedding fair when they booked on the spot once they saw some samples of my work.
The day started early with bridal preparations in the Heron Suite, where lots of beautiful contrasting images were created in a room that has very little light. Creativity being the key and knowledge of the venue helps to ensure everything is done to maximize the experience for the bride.
Louisa’s dress was beautiful and from Wedded Bliss Bridal boutique complimented with accessories from Once upon a time tiaras (both companies that I highly recommend). The unique trimmings and personal choices by Louisa really made such a difference.
Louisa looked radiant as she walked down the aisle in the Grand Hall, her smile flanked by flickering light from the candles lining the aisles. You could hear a pin drop until, with more than a slight worry from Matt, Louisa’s wedding dress came dangerously close to one of the flames.
Some lovely moments between the couple during the ceremony captured their sincerity as they gave their vows. Also a touch of drama as the registrar got the Groom’s name wrong and asked Louisa if she wanted to marry one of the ushers presenting the rings – hilarious moment as the whole of the Grand Hall erupted in laughter, the groom went to head out of the ceremony (jokingly of course) but was quickly back to marry his beloved Louisa. Unexpected moments captured on camera that make every wedding day beautifully unique.
The reception drinks produced some lovely images between the couple and their guests as, after rain in the morning, the beautiful autumn sun gave a stunning light during the couple’s time alone at ‘golden hour’.
Some couples don’t opt for a ‘receiving line’ on their wedding day as it can be quite formal however Louisa and Matt wanted this to make sure that they got to speak with all of their guests. A lovely touch which made for some wonderful photography and personal moments for them to remember.
The speeches were fantastic!! Especially the Best men’s as they produced a ‘This is your Life’ style presentation for the Groom. There were some hilarious moments from this as the photographs below show – most have been saved for the couples private gallery for ‘censored’ issues 😉
The first dance was wonderful as Louisa and Matt had taken time to go to classes and performed their routine to perfection – no need to watch Strictly here!
A lovely day had by all and a great photographic story to tell.
