Weddings at Rhinefield House
Celia & Graham relaxed Rhinefield House wedding
I have the pleasure in producing a fair amount of Rhinefield House wedding photography – I’ve photographed over 120 weddings there to date! But this wedding has to be one of the most relaxed and fun occasions I’ve been a part of.
Celia & Graham wanted a very relaxed approach to their wedding day giving them more time to celebrate with their guests. Their approach to photography was very much the same – a very relaxed and natural feel to their photographs. I think as you’ll see below we definitely completed the brief, and then some 🙂
This wedding was seamless from beginning to end as the whole day just flowed perfectly. The weather was remarkable as the sun shone all day. The couple celebrated their civil ceremony in the Grand Hall before having a religious blessing in the grounds. When photographing the guests during any reception drinks I always look for two things – light and moments. The light was perfect and the moments just kept coming as the guests drank Champagne and congratulated the new Mr & Mrs.
For the couples time alone I chose to split this session with some time in the reception drink and some during golden hour later on in the day. For the Golden Hour session the light really dictated where I chose as I wanted to achieve both a silhouette and incorporate some sun flare in the photographs. Both of these options came out perfectly. As With all my couple sessions I gave a little light direction to achieve the emotion that I wanted but the couple did all the rest.
As a documentary wedding photographer I always look to tell the story of the day above anything else. This is always the way I approach every wedding and I think the photographs from Celia & Graham’s wedding are the perfect way to relive their incredible wedding at Rhinefield House.
