This stunning, exclusive use, Rhinefield House wedding was a dream to photograph and as a Hampshire wedding photographer I couldn’t ask for more – except maybe a little more sunshine :). We had a wonderful setting, a lovely couple and a bout of excellent singing waiters during the wedding breakfast. All this made for a wonderful day that the couple will never forget.
I met Leanne and Mark after they were personally recommended to me by their wedding co-ordinator at Rhinefield House and we clicked straight away. It is always very humbling when a venue personally recommend you as a supplier as it’s a seal of approval on you and the work that you produce. I am very fortunate to have a very close working relationship with the wonderful team at Rhinefield House and get to photograph there for 60-65% of the 30+ weddings I photograph each year – 90% of those weddings come as a personal recommendation from the venue too.
For Mark and Leanne’s wedding day I started as usual with photographing unique details to this stunning Hampshire wedding venue set deep in the New Forest. After capturing those I headed up to a room where the Bridal preparations were about to get under way. I photographed all of the little details including a blinged up pair of converse for Leannne to wear on the dance floor in the evening – I’ve never seen such a pair but a fantastic idea none the less. The flowers and venue dressing on the day was produced by the quite exquisite floristry of Exclusively Weddings and I am always amazed at the variety and precision of the arrangements. If you are looking for your wedding flowers I really cannot recommend them highly enough.
After capturing lot’s of natural photographs of the girls getting ready I headed down to meet Mark, the groomsmen and his family at the main entrance. I prefer photographing the Groom and his Groomsmen before the ceremony as it frees up time later for the Bride and Groom to spend more time socialising with their guests which in turn gives me more opportunities to get the special moments between them and documenting the story of their wedding properly.
Soon afterwards it was time for the ceremony and after a little longer than normal pause for the Bride, Leanne appeared at the top of the Grand Hall looking completely radiant. She walked down with her mum as Mark looked on in amazement at his beautiful Bride walking towards him. The ceremony produced some cracking moments, as did the couples personal photographs around the grounds and the singing waiters, for me, were one of the highlights as I have never had the pleasure to photograph them before. They were an awesome idea and if you are thinking of any light entertainment to enjoy on your wedding day I would highly recommend them – I mean they even had the guests doing a conga around the venue – simply awesome!
One of my favourite photographs from this Rhinefield House wedding was one of the last photographs I took on the day and it is an absolute cracker. It’s also the last page of the couples wedding album and is the perfect way to sign off any wedding day. Throughout the day rain threatened but never really came for very long and the couple could enjoy a wonderful wedding at this stunning venue.
Both Mark and Leanne are warm hearted, fun loving people and I am so pleased they had an incredible wedding at Rhinefield House. I wish them lots of happiness for the future however I have no doubt that they will have it in abundance over the years to come.
