Hampshire Wedding Photographer
Hi, I’m Martin and thank you for stopping by. I’m a professional Hampshire wedding photographer
that specialises in documentary wedding photography and telling stories through my photographs. Whether you would prefer to call my style of photography documentary, reportage or even wedding photojournalism, it all amounts to the same thing – natural, uninterrupted moments to remember your special day as it happened. For me it is so important that your story is told through your wedding photographs, and that the day remains as uninterrupted as possible. My aim as a documentary wedding photographer is to record a collection of photographs which will sit alongside your memories of the day, taking you back to it every time you look at them. You will barely know I’m there, which means you can enjoy the day fully. My work quite often takes me further afield meaning I have been fortunate enough to photograph weddings in places such as Kent, Somerset, Yorkshire and Italy to name a few. I am also very honoured to be a preferred wedding photographer to a number of stunning venues in the South of England including Rhinefield House Hotel
, Somerley House
, Audleys Wood Hotel
and Spitbank Fort.
Please feel free to head over to my wedding page
to hear more about my approach to photographing a wedding day or alternatively to view more of my portfolio please take a look at my wedding galleries page
. My blog
contains all of my recent work along with some wedding suppliers that I would recommend and also a few handy hints and tips for your wedding day.
In 2018 I was voted the TWIA Wedding Photographer of the Year for the South Central region and in both 2018 & 2019 I was voted best wedding photographer at The Hampshire Wedding Supplier Awards. All of these awards I am extremely proud of and they mean I am in a very fortunate position to be one of the best wedding photographers Hampshire and Dorset has to offer.
Being an ex professional ballet dancer with Northern Ballet for 9 years I have also photographed dance and theatre performances in London, Surrey, Sussex, Leeds, Bath, Lancashire and even Italy, Hong Kong and China among many others. To view my dance portfolio please head over to my dance page. In 2012, I was voted one of the best up and coming dance photographers in the UK and this remains one of my proudest moments as a dance photographer.
Please feel free to have a look around my website, it’s pretty simple but if you get stuck or have a question please just ping me an email via my contact page or give me a call. There are samples of my photography on all of the pages displaying the natural, documentary style that my photography entails. Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the time you spend looking through my photography. Martin
