A small and select family gathering produced a lovely intimate Rhinefield House wedding on a hot summer’s day in the New Forest.
As a preferred wedding photographer of Rhinefield House, I was delighted to photograph Donna and Mark’s wedding day, following a personal recommendation from the wedding team at this prestigious New Forest venue. With 17 guests it was always going to be an intimate affair requiring my personal knowledge and experience of the hotel. This helped me to picture the best locations and lighting within the venue and maximize the sensitivity required of a smaller gathering.
Set in the outdoor ceremony area on one of the hottest days of the year, the couple shone in the blazing sun, lighting up their natural shyness at being photographed. The way I photograph, recording fleeting moments rather than looking straight at the camera, suited exactly what they wanted, and the group images of the family portrayed a close and loving relationship.
During the couples formal photographs a gust of wind took the gazebo up and over the hedge to the side of where we were photographing but nobody was hurt, thankfully!
I ended my coverage with a stunning photograph across the pond at Rhinefield, which produced an image for the couple to remember their special day by.
The images of Donna and Mark’s intimate Rhinefield House wedding below reflect a wonderfully memorable day for the happy couple 🙂
