Wow, what a completely different sort of wedding this is!! I can honestly say that I have never been to a wedding where half of the day is a fully traditional English wedding and the other half is a town’s Horticultural show where the Bride is the guest of honour however it completely worked. Every Bride and Groom want something different for their special day. Some want to have a luxurious manor house where they can sit back and be looked after, some want to have the sun, sea and sand of an exotic island as a back drop and some want to have their wedding day intertwined with the town’s horticultural show and this is why I love my job. I say this because in every scenario the Bride and Groom are at their happiest because it the day they dreamed of.
Jennifer and Nigel’s day was a gorgeously sunny one with lot’s of laughter, entertainment and even a produce auction!! As you will see from the images below both Nigel and Jennifer wanted me to blend in with their guests as if I wasn’t there and to photograph their wedding day as ‘a fly on the wall’ so they have a true collection of what happened from their guests prospective. I feel very blessed to have played such an important role in their special day and I know they are thrilled with the resulting images.
I get to photograph weddings in all areas of the country from Hampshire, Surrey and Yorkshire to Italy and Mexico. I love working with new clients and watching the reaction of current ones when they see the photographs I have produced, reliving every moment of their wedding day as the slideshow of photographs rolls on in front of them.
